Injuries
Report any injuries, no matter how minor, to sensei immediately.
Horseplay
Don’t do it. It helps prevent the injuries mentioned above.

Hygiene
You and your gi must be clean and neat. Fingernails and toenails must be clipped short for boys.
Girls may have long nails, but they must be taped solid before class.
Attitude
You are expected to be polite and respectful to your parents, schoolmates, instructors, and
persons in authority.
Keep your grades up.
If you cannot maintain good grades in school, you may be asked to take
time off from jujitsu to work on grades.
Bring your notebook to class every time, and be prepared to help others in class if they need it.

Grab across the back of uke’s R hand with your L

Ude gaeshi - Ulna press.
Grab his R wrist with your R hand. Use your L forearm to force uke’s
elbow up and forward to force uke face down on the floor.

Ude jime - Arm bar on mat.
Uke face up on the mat. Kneel at uke’s R side. Lay across uke’s
body and grab uke’s L wrist with your L hand. Straighten his arm. Slide your R forearm
under uke’s elbow and fi gure four it to your own L forearm. Pry down on the hand and
up on the elbow to bar the arm.
Ude garami - Arm entangling on mat.
Start to apply the armbar above, but uke bends his arm.
Slide your R forearm under uke’s elbow and fi gure four it to your own L wrist. Pry down
on the hand and up on the elbow to dislocate the shoulder. Keep your L elbow near uke’s
ear and the arm as close to his side as possible.
Atemi
Side snap kick.
Raise knee, and thrust the leg out sideways, while leaning away.
