Apple Classroom is a classroom management tool, which allows the
teacher to manage student iPads quickly and easily in the classroom.
It is a teacher SUPER POWER!
💥
System & Setting Requirements
1.
Apple Classroom is an app
only
required on the teacher’s iPad or MacBook. The
device and the Classroom app need to be running the latest versions.
*
See installation instructions on next page
2.
The classes have been created through our MDM (Mobile Device Management) and
classes are rostered through Skyward. Teachers do not need to create their own
classes (but can create classes for more local control, if preferred).
3.
IMPORTANT
: Both teacher and student
MUST
be signed into their school issued
device with their
SCHOOL
APPLE ID
. Student devices brought from home will not
appear in Classroom.
Getting started:
1.
Double check that you are signed into your School Apple ID.
2.
Download Classroom to your iPad (Teacher App) or MacBook (Self Service)
3.
Open Apple Classroom. It may take a few minutes for your classes to populate.
You may see classes that are older, duplicates, or even your lunch period, or PLC…
this is ok.

How do I sign into my Apple ID?
iPad:

Missing students?
If you are a collaborative teacher, you might be missing students not rostered
through Skyward. In this case, it is best to create your own classes. To create, tap the
+ and fi nd students with their names, user names, or ID numbers.
